Crans, John H., factory owner — Portland — born in Christine, North Dakota, July 15, 1877. Came to S. Bend, Washington, in 1890 and stayed there for a few years. Later he stayed in Portland and in Southern Oregon. Since 1906 he has lived in Portland, where he is half owner of Portland Top Co., 306 E. Morrison St., which manufactures roofs et cetera for carriages. Member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. In 1900 he married Minnie Hart; they have three children.
