Johnson, Elof, tailor – Portland – born in Hinneryd, Småland on February 14, 1869. In 1882 he moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, to learn the tailor’s trade. In the spring of 1887 he immigrated to America and took up residence in Portland, Oregon. In Portland he has worked for several tailor shops, and has had a favorable position at John B. Coffey’s tailor shop for the last twelve years. Mr Johnson owns his own home located on 893 E. Burnside St., and is a member of Elks and Royal Arcanum. He married Dorothy Golden from Portland, Oregon, on March 25, 1894.
