Löfgren, David E., attorney, real estate agent –
Portland – born in Dayton, Iowa, on May 4, 1879, where he remained for his first
20 years. He enrolled at Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois, and graduated
with a high school diploma in 1903. He continued his studies in Chicago, at
Chicago-Kent College of Law, from which he earned his degree in 1906, and
received his license to practice law the same year. Earned his living as a
lawyer in Chicago until 1908, when he took up his duties as secretary at Coeur
d’Alene College in Idaho. In December 1909 he moved to Portland, Oregon, where
he began practicing law and became the attorney representing Western Oregon
Orchard Company. His office is located in room 617-619 at the Chamber of
Commerce Building. He owns 200 acres of land in the Carlsborg Colony, founded by
Pastor Renhard.
